Well there is! It’s FREE and it is 1-1-2.

1-1-2 is the European number to call when you are in an emergency situation in any one of the 27 Member States. You may call this number from a land line or a mobile phone and it is free of charge. A trained operator will be able to assist you with any one of the emergency services, whether you are calling for the police, the fire brigade or an ambulance.

So be sure to put 1-1-2 on your speed dial! This may be your lifesaving number!
