Last chance to put your organization on the EU27 eInclusion map: MIREIA deadline extended until February 28th!
Are you an eInclusion centre or network based in Greece or Cyprus (telecentres, libraries, e-competence centres and any other variety of community places where access and training to ICT is offered to the general public or to specific target groups)? Answer the MIREA online survey before the extended deadline of February 28th!
Over 2000 eInclusion organizations have filled out the MIREIA survey between January 2nd and February 15th. To give a chance to other organizations that would like to be included in the EU27 mapping exercise, the European Commission JRC-IPTS who is conducting the research jointly with DG-CONNECT have announced an extension of the deadline to fill out the survey until February 28th.
Especially organizations active in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and Estonia are kindly invited to fill the survey or disseminate it to organizations of which they think should be present at the European map of eInclusion!
MIREIA (Measuring the Impact of eInclusion Actors on Digital Literacy, Skills and Inclusion goals of the Digital Agenda for Europe) is a research project which aims at better understanding the role of eInclusion intermediary actors and wants to create adequate instruments to facilitate the demonstration of their outcomes and their contribution to the achievement of European eInclusion policy goals.
Commissioned by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (JRC-IPTS), in collaboration with DG CONNECT, Telecentre-Europe and the University of Washingtonare conducting the MIREIA online survey to provide a ‘map’ of telecentres, libraries and other eInclusion actors that operate in the EU.This exercise and its outcomes will help the eInclusion sector leveraging its resources, as it will provide vital insights for policy makers to understand the importance of telecentres, libraries & other eInclusion actors that are on the forefront of digital inclusion and empowerment.
The MIREIA online survey is available in 15 languages and will stay online until February 28th.
