Gov2u's MyUniversity project listed as an eGovernment best practice case on ePratice Website
My University
Partially funded under the EU's ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP), MyUniversity is a trial project which centres on the unification of European Higher Education and its affect on university stakeholders (i.e. students, teaching and administrative staff) in the aim of generating some added value by applying information and communication technologies.
The objective is to design and deploy an integrated solution for empowering university members and stakeholders to develop appropriate recommendations and action plans regarding the EU's higher education sector, in absolute transparency.
An advanced technological platform used by all participating universities to create the environment needed to facilitate such interactions.
In the framework of MyUniversity, Gov2u will equip a total of 14 universities from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Spain, Slovakia and Sweden, with a cutting edge eParticipation platform which will provide their members and stakeholders with innovative interactive tools to involve them in designing the decisions which will affect the higher education sector, providing valuable input in future policies and legislation, both locally and at European level.
